Project is estimated to be ready to receive volunteers as of July 10, 2012.
Months to avoid when scheduling for project are December; January-February (for exterior work)
This is a construction / building rehabilitation project for all areas of congregational life for use in serving community members.
Specific Projects:
Demolition and replacement of wall in social hall and walls of kitchen. Repair roof of social hall and kitchen. Replace electrical fuse box and upgrade to electrical panel. Upgrade electrical outlets. Install drain gutters and downspouts on social hall and kitchen roofs. Move water heater to outside location. Replace and reframe door from social hall to parking lot. Install new cabinets in kitchen. Install dishwasher. New flooring placed over existing floors in kitchen and social hail.
Project Goal:
Goal is to improve facilities for congregational and community use
Specific volunteer skills will be needed:
General contractor, carpentry, roofer, electrical, plumbing, sheetrock installation, painter
Tools needed:
General demolition and construction.
