Join Scarritt Bennett Center’s Racial Justice Ministries on August 3rd, 2p CDT/ 11a PDT for, “Back to School in a Pandemic: A Special COVID-19 Discussion," in partnership with Meharry Medical College featuring Dr. James E. K. Hildreth, and moderated by Dawana Wade, CEO of Salama Urban Ministries.
As families face the realities and challenges of a pandemic in the midst of "back to school" season, many are asking: how do we keep our children, teachers, and others safe and healthy—and engaged and learning—through the next few months?
This event will feature a panel of trusted leaders in the medical field to help guide us through the next steps of schools re-opening.
Panelists will specifically address updated information on COVID-19, testing, and what families can do to keep their children safe while back in school.
Panelists will also discuss best healthcare practices for the entire family, why it is important to continue to get tested, updates on vaccine statues, and discuss ways to keep your family safe during the new school year.
