Pentecost Circuit’s Saturday Workshops Focus on Disciple Making

February 05, 2019

The California-Nevada Annual Conference’s Sacramento Pentecost Circuit is sponsoring a series of Saturday workshops under the heading, “The Disciple Making Process,” beginning this month.

The workshops will utilize TeamWorks Tools for Creating Vital Faith Communities, which contains four guidebooks designed to help churches create a healthy leadership team that prays, learns, and dreams together.

The first workshop, Connecting with Your Community, will take place Feb. 16, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Taulanga’u United Methodist Church, 3600 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95817.

Faith UMC will host the second, Creating a Discipleship System, on March 2, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The church is located at 3600 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95817.

The final workshop in the series, Futurecasting, will feature Rev. Dr. Craig Kennet Miller. It will take place March 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Sacramento Japanese UMC, 3600 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95817.

(An earlier workshop, “Spiritual Life of the Leaders,” was offered as a combined effort by the Sacramento Pentecost Circuit and Los Rios District.)

The TeamWorks guidebook will be available for $5 on site; you may purchase it in advance on Amazon for $7.50.
