7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sponsored by Advocacy & Justice Committee
Task Force on Criminalization of Children & Youth

For the last few weeks, we have seen many people across the US, as well as cities in many countries, give voice and protest against the brutal and deadly attacks against black people, namely black men.  It is as if people are saying, we refuse to accept as normal, the murder of another black man in plain sight.

Such brutal, and often deadly attacks, are but a manifestation of a deeper reality, the minimalization,  exploitation, and exclusion of black and brown bodies. There are inalienable rights and due treatment of all lives, but black and brown lives seem to be discardable, as is evidenced by their mistreatment.

Underneath is the malignant disease of ethnocentrism, racism, and white supremacy that rifle the human psyche and permeates every dimension of human society.

Another abhorrent manifestation is the Criminalization of Children and youth.

Please join us to hear what the Annual Conference 2019 Task Force on the Criminalization of Children and Youth has learned and what they deem as critical next steps.

Register Here.   Although space is limited to the first 100, the webinar will be broadcast live on the California-Nevada Facebook page.
