In the midst of a season of holy days: Jewish Passover, Christian Holy Week, Muslim Ramadan, Buddhist Hanamatsuri, interfaith leaders will gather for an online vigil calling for an end to for-profit prisons and detention centers and the liberation of those most vulnerable and held captive.
Bishop Minerva Carcano is among the spiritual leaders who will speak at the online vigil scheduled for April 10th at 10:30 a.m.
The online vigil is being organized by the Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity (IM4HI) and co-sponsored by the Advocacy & Justice Committee of the California Nevada United Methodist Church.
