The Friends of Wadi Foquin (FoWF) invite you to a benefit dinner on Saturday, April 13 to raise funds to build a guest house in the village of Wadi Foquin, near Bethlehem.
Besides enjoying a Middle Eastern Dinner, you’ll be able to hear from a dozen pilgrims from Northern California who traveled to the “Holy Land” of Israel and Palestine late last year and learn of their transformation and commitment to bring hope to the village.
A powerful new documentary, “Imprisoning a Generation,” will be shown, as well.
The benefit will take place at Castro Valley United Methodist Church, 19806 Wisteria Street, Castro Valley, CA 94546 from 4 to 7 p.m. on April 13.
Tickets are $25 per person or $185 for a table (of eight). Parking is available and the building is wheelchair accessible.
To purchase tickets, make checks payable to “BMU-FoWF,” noting “Pilgrim Dinner” in the memo line, and mail to Rev. Emily Lin, 1411 Oak St., Alameda, CA 94501.
Contact Rev. Emily Lin at Emily.Lin@cnumc.org or 510-522-6744, Ext. 224, for more information. Download flyer here.
