Memorial United Methodist Church in Clovis, California invites you to attend a special event, “Building Bridges of Understanding with Native American Communities,” this Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of Academy Methodist Church.
Academy is located at 10677 N Madsen Ave., Clovis, CA 93619, which is a few miles north east of Clovis, just off Highway 168.
Sponsored by Memorial UMC under the advisement of leadership from the North Fork Mono Tribe, the event will feature cultural art, food, demonstrations, and interesting speakers. One talk will focus on the impact of Methodism on Native American culture and communities.
The event promises to be an opportunity to form relationships and embark on a shared journey with new friends.
Cost is $12.50 for adults and $7.50 for children; no charge for age 5 and younger.
Each ticket provides entrance to the event, one Indian Taco and one beverage, and food samples. Additional tacos and beverages will be available for purchase.
