Get in the Christmas spirit on December 8, 2019, at 4 p.m. when Sunnyvale Singers presents a preview of the group's 2019 winter concert, "Winter Dreams," at Sunnyvale Trinity United Methodist Church, 583 E. Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale, California.
Founded in 1976, the Sunnyvale Singers provides two formal concerts each year and performs regularly at retirement homes and community events in the South Bay.
A free-will offering will be taken to benefit Sunnyvale Community Services (SCS). Marie Bernard, Executive Director of SCS, will be on hand to provide an overview of their work that keeps families in their homes, sustains them there, and helps homeless families find housing. The need continues to grow: The number of homeless persons helped last year increased by 22%.
The May 2019 concert raised a record $5,000 for SCS. A reception after the concert will wrap up the festivities of the afternoon and include a reveal of the money raised this year to benefit that ministry.
Trinity is privileged to be able to support families in need in the area by hosting the "Winter Dreams" preview concert. Everyone is invited to attend!
