Ronald R. Ray

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our brother, Ronald R. Ray, surviving spouse of Rev. Marilyn Ray, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
Ronald was a faithful companion as his wife served in Los Molinos, Cone, Mendocino UM Cooperative Parish: Point Arena, St. Paul’s, Point Arena, St. Paul’s & Willits, Galt and Sunnyhills, Milpitas churches until Marilyn retired in July of 2000.
He loved reading and creative writing, and had a special connection to the outdoors, particularly camping and hiking. His career was spent in the commercial title insurance business, where his patience and attention to detail were highly valued.  His children give witness that throughout their marriage, Ronald demonstrated only “tremendous and enduring love” for Marilyn.
He is survived by his children, Erin Ray of El Cerrito, CA, and Joy Ray of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, and by 2 Grandchildren. His wife Marilyn died on February 16, 2012. Condolences may be sent to Joy Ray at 76-6297 Haku Place, Kailua Kona, HI  96740.
The memorial service was private.
Let us continue to give God thanks for Ronald’s life and witness and hold his family close in prayer.  In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
