‘Giving Tuesday’ Opportunity Continues to End of Year

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Rev. Romain Swedenburg died on Monday, October 17, 2016.  He is survived by his wife, Juanita Swedenburg of Spring Valley, California; by five children, Ted Swedenburg of Fayetteville, AR, Ray Swedenburg of Eureka, CA; Cynthia Wolfe of Olympia, WA, Sandra Hilger of Fountain Valley, CA, and Gregory Soghikian of Bedford, NH; by eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Condolences may be sent to Juanita Swedenburg, 325 Kempton Street, #804, Spring Valley, CA 91977.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 11 AM at First United Methodist Church, 2111 Camino del Rio S, San Diego, CA 92108. Pastor Ken Licht will preside.

Romain served South San Francisco-Buri Buri, Los Gatos, Beirut Lebanon-Community Church, Hague, Holland- American Protestant Church, Fresno-Wesley, Santa Clara-First, and Walnut Creek-Tice Valley before retiring in 1987.
