Rev. Richard O. McKinsey

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Rev. Richard O. McKinsey died on Friday, October 21, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Ellen McKinsey, of Crescent City, CA;  by four children: Kathi McKinsey-Swarts, Richard McKinsey, and Lee Ann McKinsey  of Crescent City, CA and John Wesley McKinsey of Modesto, CA; by fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to Ellen McKinsey, 430 Alpine Street, Crescent City, CA  95531.

A memorial service will be held in two or three weeks, before Thanksgiving at the Crescent City UMC.

Richard served the Tamalpais Valley, Vallejo: Wayside, Fortuna, Colusa: Williams, Fresno: St. Lukes, Oakdale, Porterville: First and Kingsburg churches before retiring in 1991.

Memorial gifts may be sent in Richard’s name to support the youth ministries at Crescent City UMC, 664 H Street, Crescent City, CA  95531.
