Rev. Wayne L. Bouck

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
 
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our brother, Rev. Wayne L. Bouck, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2018.
 
Wayne began his ministry in the California Pacific Conference as a US Navy Chaplain, transferring into California Nevada conference in 1991. In our conference he served in extension ministry under the Division of  Chaplains, and then in pastoral appointments to Brentwood, Dos Palos, and Orland Federated churches before retiring in 1997.
 
Wayne had a great love for music. An accomplished vocalist and 12-string guitarist, he was known in the Navy as the “Singing Chaplain” – a talent he utilized throughout his ministry.
 
Wayne is survived by his wife, Bienvenida Bouck, of Fairfield, CA, his children Laurel Bobiack of Bainbridge, WA, Lester Bouck of Everett, WA, and his step-children LLeslle Schroeder of Martinez, CA, Arthur Aclaro of Carmichael, CA, Melven Aclaro of Anaheim, CA, Luselle Skaj of Benicia, CA; by seven Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018, at 11:00 am, at the Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 West Texas St., Fairfield, CA 94533, with his son, Pastor Lester Bouck, officiating.
 
Memorial gifts in Wayne’s name may be sent to the Arms of Jesus Children’s Mission, P.O. Box 2010, Buffalo, NY 14231-2010-10.
 
Let us continue to give God thanks for Wayne’s life and witness and hold his family close in prayer.  In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
