Rev. Wanda Celli

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
 
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Rev. Wanda Celli, died on Friday, August 24, 2018. 
 
Wanda served the Middletown, Fall River Mills, Kelseyville, and Upper Lake churches before retiring in 2016.
 
Wanda was a pianist and had a deep love for music. Her call to ministry came while serving in her role as a Director of Music in her local church. She is remembered as having a beautiful singing voice and she loved singing one of her favorite songs, “His Eye Is on the Sparrow.” A fellow pastor shared, “When Wanda sang this song, it caught your breath. She wholly felt the music. It was a song that allowed her to share the depth of God’s grace.” 
 
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Celli, and by her son, Timothy Celli, both of Clearlake, CA, and by three grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to Kenneth Celli at 3637 Madison Drive, Clearlake, CA 95422.
 
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at The Brick Hall, 16374 Main Street, Lower Lake, CA 95457. The Rev. Cindy Storrs will preside.
 
Memorial gifts may be sent in Wanda’s name to the Middletown Community United Methodist Church at P.O. Box A, Middletown, CA 95461. Please note “circuit music program” on the memo of the check.
 
Let us continue to give God thanks for Wanda’s life and witness and hold her family close in prayer. In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
