Rev. Marlene Spilman

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Rev. Marlene Spilman died peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 25, 2015. She is survived by her husband, John Spilman, by two children: Diane Giuliani of Colfax, CA and John Spilman Jr. of Mill Valley, CA; and by four grandsons: Anthony Giuliani, Kellen Giuliani, Ian Spilman, and Harris Spilman. Condolences may be sent to Diane Giuliani, 22891 Tiger Lily Road, Colfax, CA 95713.

The memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at St. Paul’s UMC, 405 S. 10th Street, San Jose, CA 95112. Rev. Jennifer Goto will preside.

Marlene served as the Executive Director for ACTS (Actions Contributing to Solutions) for the Homeless from 1986 until 1993. She also served San Jose: Saint Paul’s and Milpitas: Sunnyhills before retiring in 1995.
