Rev. James Scott

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
 
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our brother, Rev. James Ralph Scott, died on December 10, 2022.  
 
Jim served the Winnemucca UMC; Battle Mountain UMC; Tulare UMC; Fresno, St. Paul’s UMC, and as a Chaplain with the US Navy. He retired in 2006.
 
Jim was born in Chicago, IL on March 2, 1944. He loved to practice woodworking and traveling extensively through Europe and the Far East.
 
He is survived by his wife, Teresa K. Scott, his son Timothy Scott of Rochester NY, his daughter Tina Smith of Fresno CA, and by 2 Grandchildren. 
 
A memorial service will be held on Friday Dec. 23, 2022 at 3 pm, at Memorial United Methodist Church, Clovis CA.
