Rev. Ellen Gariaeff

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
 
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Rev. Ellen Gariaeff, died on July 1, 2022.  
 
Ellen served the Freedom UMC; Corning UMC; Gerber, El Camino UMC; and Middletown UMC before retiring in 2001.
 
Ellen was born in San Francisco, CA on July 4, 1938. She was a “huge dog lover”. She also enjoyed gardening, hiking, and journal writing. Ellen had a deep appreciation for music and was a musician herself, deriving great enjoyment from playing her grand piano.
 
She is survived by her children, Peter Gariaeff of Weimar CA, and Katrina David of Fernandina Beach FL, and by 5 grandchildren.

Let us continue to give God thanks for Ellen’s life and witness and hold her family close in prayer.  In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
