Rev. Andrew B. Montgomery

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
 
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our brother, Rev. Andrew B. Montgomery, spouse of Rev. Judy Currier, died on Thursday, March 12, 2020.

Andrew was a faithful companion to his wife, Rev. Judy Currier, as she served the Kelseyville, Grace UMC Santa Cruz, Petaluma and Tice Valley churches before she retired in 2005.
 
Andrew was a third-generation Presbyterian minister, serving several congregations including some in the United Methodist church. He was a writer and a scholar and was a member of a Great Minds Group where he enjoyed rich conversation and philosophy. He was also a strong supporter of peace and justice ministries.

Andrew is survived by his wife Judy, and by his children, Anne Montgomery of Oregon, Gloria Montgomery of Eureka CA, Larry Wood of Arcata, CA and Anne Louise Cabal of Eureka, CA.

A memorial service date and time are yet to be determined.

Donations may be made in Andrew’s memory to charitable organizations that support peace and justice.

Let us continue to give God thanks for Andrew’s life and witness and hold his family close in prayer. In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
