Rev. Alf Christensen

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Rev. Alf Christensen died on Sunday, January 3, 2016. He is survived by his children, Kimberly Nair, of Pocatello, ID; Karen Swing of Grand Terrace, CA; Kai Christensen of Kalaheo, HI; Kevin Christensen of Sacramento, CA, and step-son, Shaun Christensen of Porterville, CA; by 10 grandchildren;  and by numerous great grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to Karen Swing, 12791 Mt. Vernon Ave., Grand Terrace, CA 92313

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23 at 3:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott Street, Salinas, CA. Rev. Stephen Lundin will preside.

Alf served Georgetown, Lincoln, Newcastle, Kerman, the California Department of Corrections, Shafer and Delano before retiring in 2003.

Memorial gifts may be sent in Alf’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Doctors without Borders.
