Onelda Letana

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Onelda Letana, spouse of Rev. Reynaldo Letana, died on Monday, August 19, 2019.
Onelda was a faithful companion as her husband served the Kelseyville, Upper Lake, Grace San Francisco, Wasco, Fort Jones, Etna, Georgetown Community, St. Paul’s Stockton, St. Mark’s Stockton, and Wayside Vallejo churches.
Onelda delighted in growing flowers and gardening at every home in which they lived, and shared them with her family. She loved being a partner in ministry and building relationships in the communities where they served.
She is survived by her husband, Reynaldo; her children, Karen Calvelo and her husband, Anthony Calvelo, of the Phillipines, Socrates Letana and his wife, Amen Quizon of Vallejo CA, Karla Letana of San Francisco, CA, and Omega Letana, also of San Francisco CA; and by three grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Wayside UMC, Vallejo, and also on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at Wayside UMC, Vallejo.
