Rev. Newell Knudson

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Rev. Newell Knudson died on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Patton Knudson of Fresno, CA; by his children, David Knudson of Fresno, CA, Poppy Buford of Manchester, CT, Kristin Knudson of Linthicum Heights, MD; by 5 grandchildren; and by 8 great grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to Eleanor Knudson, 9525 N. Fort Washington Road, #103W, Fresno, CA 93730.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 11:00 am at the Memorial UMC, 1726 Pollasky Ave, Clovis, CA. Rev. Janette Saavedra, Rev. Denise Leslie, and Rev. Adam Knudson will preside.

Newell served Livermore, Mt Shasta, Oakland: Eighth Avenue, Greenfield, Los Banos, Tracy, Eureka, Hayward: First, as a District Superintendent for San Jose, and Clovis: Memorial before retiring in 1989.

Memorial gifts may be sent in Newell’s name to the Permanent Endowment Fund for Memorial United Methodist Church, 1726 Pollasky Ave., Clovis, CA 93612.
