Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our brother, Kenneth Celli, surviving spouse of Licensed Local Pastor Rev. Wanda Celli, died on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
Ken was born in Alameda California on Nov. 19, 1947. He worked in sales for many years in the automotive and the manufactured home industries. Ken was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and as a result, dealt with chronic health issues for the remainder of his life. He was a car enthusiast and also loved the Canine Program of the Clearlake Police Department, where his son Timothy is employed.
Ken was a faithful companion as his wife served the Middletown, Community; Fall River Mills, Community; Kelseyville; and Upper Lake, Community United Methodist churches of California before she retired in 2016.
He is survived by his son, Timothy Celli, and by three Grandchildren. His wife Wanda predeceased him in 2018. Condolences may be sent to 2808 Pacific Avenue, Midlothian, TX 76065.
A time and date for a memorial service has yet to be determined.
Gifts in honor of Ken may be sent to The Clearlake Police Department, earmarked for the Canine Program, 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, CA 95422.
Let us continue to give God thanks for Ken’s life and witness and hold his family close in prayer. In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
Blessings,
Bishop Minerva G. Carcaño
