Iesilika Ofahengaue

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Iesilika Ofahengaue, spouse of Rev. Tevita Ofahengaue, died on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.
Iesilika was a faithful companion as her husband served the Carlin, Greenville, Hamilton, and Tehachapi Valley churches, and the Salt Lake City Tongan United Methodist Church in the Mountain Sky area.
Iesilika was known for her lovely smile and humble demeanor. She loved reading the Bible and spending time reading to her grandchildren, as well as quilting and drawing.
She is survived by her husband, Tevita; by her children, William Ofahengaue of San Mateo, CA, Sisilia Ofahengaue of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kelepi Ofahengaue of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jacintha Ofahengaue of West Valley City, Utah; and by her five grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to Rev. Tevita Ofahengaue at 3226 S. 6360 W., West Valley City, Utah 84128.
A memorial service was held on June 1, 2019 at the Tongan UMC, Salt Lake City, Utah. Rev. Heilala Ahio officiated.
Let us continue to give God thanks for Iesilika’s life and witness and hold her family close in prayer. In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
