It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Faioa “Faye” Schwarzenberg, surviving spouse of Rev. Carl Schwarzenberg, died on Saturday, July 13, 2019.
Faioa was a faithful companion as her husband served the Windsor, Tamalpais Valley, Shasta Valley, Westwood Community, Greenville Parish, Taylorsville, Gazelle, Mt. Shasta, and Susanville churches.
Faioa was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, quilting, and knitting. She spent many hours volunteering at her church and the local library, and for hospice in her community.
She is survived by her children, John Schwarzenberg of Auburn, CA, Lynn Birimisa of Mt. Shasta, Jan Wolff of Sacramento CA, and Nancy Pfeiffer of Cottage Grove, Oregon, and by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to Lynn Birimisa at 621 Everitt Memorial Hwy., Mt. Shasta, CA 96067.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1 p.m. at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 701 Lassen Lane, Mt. Shasta, CA 96067.
