Eleanor Ruth Patton

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
 
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Eleanor Ruth Patton, surviving spouse of Rev. Newell Knudson, died on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
 
She is survived by two children, Carolyn J. Friedman of Montclair, CA and Judith Patton of Hanford, CA, and by one Grandchild.  Rev. Knudson died in 2016. Condolences may be sent to Carolyn Friedman, 5426 Denver Street, Montclair, CA  91763.
 
Date and time for a memorial service has yet to be determined.   
 
Eleanor held a special fondness for elephants and her late husband would often surprise her with an elephant “adoption” as a gift through the World Wildlife Fund.
 
Memorial gifts may be made in Eleanor’s name to the Elephant Adoption program through the World Wildlife Fund, 1250 24^th Street NW, Washington DC, 20037.
 
Let us continue to give God thanks for Eleanor’s life and witness and hold the Patton family close in prayer.  In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
