Coreane Marker

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Coreane Marker, surviving spouse of Rev. Floyd Marker, died on January 29, 2022.
Coreane was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She grew up in San Clemente California where her father served as Mayor. She worked in retail all her life, eventually becoming a manager with JC Penny’s where she worked in several different cities.
Coreane was a faithful companion as her husband Floyd served under appointment in a secular ministry setting with the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Floyd died on Nov. 4, 1984. Previously he had served the Pinole; Vacaville, St. Paul’s; Tranquillity; Reno, First; Lovelock, Grace; and Sacramento, Pacific churches.
Coreane is survived by her sister, Charlene Hazelitt, and was pre-deceased by her brothers Charles Sheafer and Bobby Sheafer, and sister Jane.
The family held a private memorial.
Gifts in memory of Coreane may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at
Let us continue to give God thanks for Coreane’s life and witness and hold her family close in prayer.  In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
