Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Betty L. Chinn, surviving spouse of Rev. Harvey Chinn, died on Sunday, April 2, 2017.
She is survived by three children: Harvey Chinn Jr. of Bozeman, MT, Elizabeth Buford of Salem, OR, and Margaret Chinn of Gaithersburg, MD; by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to Margaret Chinn at 20700 Highland Hall Drive, Gaithersburg, Maryland, 20886.
Date and time for a memorial service has yet to be determined.
Betty and Harvey spent time in both the Northern Indiana and Rocky Mountain Conferences before coming to California-Nevada in 1953. In this conference they served Oakland, Sacramento-First, and Sacramento-Faith until Harvey retired in 1985.

Let us continue to give God thanks for Betty’s life and witness and hold the Chinn family close in prayer. In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
