‘Giving Tuesday’ Opportunity Continues to End of Year

Rev. Charles Allen Woodworth

2/10/2017

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our brother, Rev. Charles Allen Woodworth died on Friday, February 10, 2017.

Rev. Woodworth served the Round Valley, Willits, San Lorenzo, Fremont: First, and Turlock: First churches before retiring in 1991. He also co-founded the Methodist Actors Serving the Church and served as the Executive Director of that group.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Woodworth, of Cut Bank, Montana, four children, four grandchildren, and one expected great-grandchild. Condolences may be sent to Peggy Woodworth at P.O. Box 815, Cut Bank, Montana 59427.

Charles spent many years active in justice and family caregiving ministries. Peggy was his full partner in ministry.  Everything that he did, he shared the credit with her.

A private family graveside burial was held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. A public memorial is planned for a later date.

Memorial gifts may be sent in Charles’ name to the Great Falls Rescue Mission, 317 2nd Avenue S., Great Falls, Montana 59401.

Let us continue to give God thanks for Charles’ life and witness and hold the Woodworth family close in prayer.  In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
