‘Giving Tuesday’ Opportunity Continues to End of Year

Raquel Alvarado, surviving spouse of the Rev. Ezekiel Alvarado, died on Monday, December 1, 2014. She is survived by six children: Ezekiel Alvarado of Bend, OR, Raquel Alvarado of San Jose, Andrew Alvarado of Honolulu, HI, Jonathan Alvarado of San Diego, Dorcas O’Campo of Sacramento, and Rebecca Trujillo of Fresno; by twenty grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Condolences to the family may be sent to daughter Raquel Alvarado, 406 Avenida Arboles, San Jose, CA 95123.

Interment is scheduled on Thursday, December 11th at 1:00 pm at the Oakhill Memorial Park in San Jose. A memorial service follows at 2:30 pm at the Blossom Valley Bible Church, 6147 Purple Hills Drive, San Jose.

Ezekiel Alvarado originally served in the California-Pacific and Desert Southwest Conferences.  In the California-Nevada conference they served in Bakersfield, Mountain View, Sacramento: Emanuel and Selma churches before retiring in 1980. He died on September 30, 2008.
