Rev. James Corson

Retired pastor James Corson died on Monday, February 25, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Jane Corson, who resides at 2833 Peachtree Street, West Sacramento, CA 95691; by two children: Dorothy Winter of San Rafael, Derek Corson of Citrus Heights, and by two grandchildren.  

The memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 16, at 2 p.m., at First United Methodist Church in Sacramento. The Revs. Glenda Thomas Hayward and Doug Hayward will preside.  
 
Jim Corson served the Farmington, Oakland: First, Etna, Chico: Aldersgate, Sacramento: First, Palo Alto: Wesley Foundation, Stanford University: Campus Ministry, Berkeley: Wesley Foundation, Berkeley: Unitas, Area Secretary: UMHE, Golden Gate District Superintendent, Burlingame: First and Director: CCOM before retiring in 1999.
