Rev. David MacMurdo

Retired pastor the Rev. David MacMurdo died on Thursday, January 5, 2012. Survivors include two children, David MacMurdo, Jr. of Suisun City, California and Deann Henry, who lives in Viet Nam; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Dorothy, and son Douglas.

The memorial service is planned for Sunday, Jan. 15 at 1 p.m., at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 2391 St. Mark's Way, Sacramento, CA 95864. Bishop Warner H. Brown, Jr. and the Rev. Alan Jones will preside.

David MacMurdo served the Eureka: First, Sacramento: First, and Sacramento: St. Mark's churches before retiring in 1970.

Condolences may be sent to the family in care of St. Mark's UMC.

Memorial gifts may be sent in David MacMurdo's name to the St. Mark's Memorial Fund, 2391 St. Mark's Way, Sacramento, CA 95864.
