Lillie Toy Jue


Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Lillie Toy Jue, surviving spouse of Rev. Jun Wan Jue, died on August 26, 2021.  
Lillie Toy Jue was born Sept 9, 1925 in Sheridan, Wyoming.  At a young age, Lillie’s family moved to San Francisco, California.  After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley she worked as a hospital dietician for a number of years. Reading, traveling, and gardening were some of Lillie’s joys.
Lillie was a faithful companion as her husband, Jun Wan, served the Stockton St. Mark’s, Lodi, Palo Alto St. Andrews, Richmond Good Shepherd churches in California.   Supported by Lillie, Jun Wan then went on to serve with UM Communications followed by additional pastoral appointments to Sunnyvale Trinity, South San Francisco St. Paul’s and Hope, South Hayward, and Soledad Mision Metodista Hispana churches until retiring in 1990.
Lillie is survived by her children, Terrence Jue, Clifford Jue, Rev. Jennifer Jue, and Jeffrey Jue, and by 3 grandchildren,Cameron Jue, Heather Jue-Wong, and Jonathan Jue-Wong. Her husband Rev. Jun Wan Jue
predeceased her on March 6, 2000.
