Dolores “Dolly” Capuli

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Dolores “Dolly” Capuli, surviving spouse of the late Rev. Arturo Capuli, died on Sunday, December 13, 2020.
 
Dolly was a faithful ministry companion as Rev. Capuli served in ministry in the Philippines, the Illinois Great Rivers Conference, and finally in the California-Nevada Conference to which he transferred in 1980.  In our Conference he served the following churches in California: Melrose United in Oakland, Grace in San Francisco, and St. Francis in San Francisco until retiring in 2003.
 
Sister Dolly was born in the Philippines. She began teaching while in Indiana and found great joy working as a special education teacher for over 20 years in the Oakland Unified School District in Oakland, California.  In addition to spending time with family, she enjoyed growing and cultivating orchids.
 
Dolly is survived by her son Earl Capuli and daughter-in-law Lillian Capuli of San Francisco, CA, and by 3 grandchildren.  Condolences may be sent to Earl and Lillian Capuli at 2522 30^th Avenue, San Francisco, CA  94116.
 
A private memorial service will be held by the family.

Let us continue to give God thanks for Dolly’s life and witness and hold her family close in prayer.  In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
