Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our brother, Rev. C. Holtzman Frazier, died on Monday, January 29, 2018. Pastor Holtzman was a compassionate and caring person deeply devoted to his family. During his ministry he was passionate in his preaching, loved his church families, and served on District and Conference committees.
In his later years he worked in the insurance industry that served mainly ministry professionals.
Holtzman began his ministry in the Virginia conference before transferring to the California-Nevada Annual Conference in 1964. In our conference he served the Biggs, Yreka, Montague, Santa Clara, San Jose: Evergreen, and Fairfield churches before retiring in 1990.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Maurine Frazier, and his children, April Amundson of Hatton, ND, Michael Frazier, and Christopher Frazier, of Parker CO, Gregory Volz of Westport, WA, and Karen Yegge of Longmont, CO, by ten Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to E. Maurine Frazier at 16615 Las Ramblas Lane, Unit 8, Parker, CO 80134.
The family will celebrate Pastor Holtzman’s life with a private scattering of ashes in his beloved Colorado mountains.
Memorial gifts in Rev. C. Holtzman Frazier’s name may be sent to the Denver Hospice, 501 S. Cherry Street #700, Denver, CO 80246-1328.
Let us continue to give God thanks for our brother Holtzman’s life and witness and hold his family close in prayer. In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
