Rev. A. Allen Bryan

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
 
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our brother Rev. A. Allen Bryan died on Sunday, January 28, 2018.
Pastor Allen is remembered as having a wonderful spiritual presence in all he did.
 
He began his ministry in Western PA, No. Central NY, and New England conferences before transferring to the California-Nevada Annual Conference in 1999. In our Conference, Rev. Bryan served the Lincoln and Sacramento: Centennial churches before retiring in 2003.
 
He is survived by his wife, Marsha Bryan, his children Laurie Scalise of Dayton, OH, Eric Bryan and Adam Bryan of Pittsburg PA, and his step children Patrick Scanlan of Scripps Ranch, CA, and Katherine Karpé  of San Marcos, CA,  and by 10 Grandchildren and 2 great-Grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to Marsha Bryan at 844 San Pablo Drive, San Marcos, CA  92078.
 
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:00 am at San Dieguito UMC 170 Calle Magdalena, Encinitas, CA 92024. A reception will follow in Founder's Hall.

Let us continue to give God thanks for our brother Allen’s life and witness and hold his family close in prayer.  In our living and in our dying, we belong to God! (Romans 14:8)
