Helen Terrell

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Helen Terrell, surviving spouse of the Rev. Olan Terrell, died on Friday, April 24, 2015. She is survived by six children: Richard Terrell of Lund, British Columbia, Barbara Kessler of Oakland, CA, Joan Terrell of Dunsmuir, CA, Pamela Cheaney of Watsonville, CA, Renee Levy of Cuenca, Ecuador, and Douglas Terrell of Mt. Shasta, CA; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  Condolences to the family may be sent to 119 Monte Vista Ave., Watsonville, CA 95076.

The memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 2 at 3 p.m. at the Watsonville First UMC. Rev. Robin Mathews-Johnson will preside.

Olan and Helen Terrell served in the Nebraska Conference until they transferred to the California-Nevada Conference in 1948. In this conference, they served the Williams, Sonoma, Riverbank, Dunsmuir, Sparks Nevada, Watsonville, Bakersfield: Wesley, Mt. Shasta-Gazelle and Greenfield churches before retiring in 1979. Olan died in 1997.
