Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Retired pastor Carl Schwarzenberg died on Friday, April 17, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Fai Schwarzenberg; four children: John Schwarzenberg of Auburn, CA, Lynne Birmisa of Mt. Shasta, CA, Jan Wolff of Sacramento, CA, and Nancy Pfiffer of Lake Shastina, CA; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Condolences to the family may be sent to 7800 French Creek, Road, Etna, CA 96027.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
Carl Schwarzenberg served the Windsor, Tamalpais Valley, Shasta Valley, Westwood Community, Greenville, Gazelle, and Susanville churches before retiring in 1986.
Memorial gifts may be sent to UM Shasta Camp or the Sierra Club.
