Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church in Oakland is busily preparing for its 4th Annual Winter Concert, "A Night of Miracles," featuring the Taylor Anointed Praise Choir and a variety of musical guests. This year’s program will be a narrated musical, designed to inspire audience members to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas – the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The event is a fundraiser to help support the music ministry of the church through purchase of choir robes, along with concert attire for choir members who need financial assistance; to sponsor field trips for the youth choir; and to support upcoming music ministry events as well as the overall ministry of the church.
The curtain goes up on “A Night of Miracles” on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 5 p.m., at Taylor Memorial UMC, 1188 12th Street, Oakland, CA 94607.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. Call 510-444-6162 for more information.
