Come honor the lives of our sisters and brothers who died without homes in Santa Clara County, and bring awareness to the ongoing tragedy of homelessness in our community.
Held on the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, the Homeless Persons' Interfaith Memorial service features leaders from the diverse religious traditions of the South Bay (Buddhist, Jain, Muslim, Jewish, Unitarian Universalist, Protestant and Catholic). We will share prayers, readings, songs, and read the names of persons who died without a home in our community this past year. Three choirs will offer their gift of music. Members of the homeless community will be invited to offer their reflections.
