In an Interfaith Lecture series themed The Future We Want, The World We Need hosted by Chautauqua Institute, Bishop Minerva G. Carcaño shared a presentation that included concepts around immigration, the beloved community and our role in building that community.
Each of the presenters was asked to consider our constantly evolving world, and examine "what needs to change, what can change, and what do we and all peoples actually need — not only to survive, but to sustain life and to thrive? In this week, we will ask these humanitarian questions and more: questions that make us think; questions that trigger other questions." (Chautauqua Institute)
Bishop Carcaño's presentation was streamed live on August 24th and is archived on the Chautauqua site.
