Pastors across the UMC connection are always busy, yet they have been especially busy with the additional task of producing weekly online worship services which often includ video taping, editorial, and sharing several live elements within each service.
The task grows exponentially when pastors are serving a diverse congregation that may speak several first languages.
Knowing this, MARCHA leadership came together to think about a designing an online service in Spanish that could be used throughout the season of Pentecost.
"Canto de Pentecostes" was developed by Rev. Lydia Muñoz, a gifted musician and liturgist, Bishop Minerva G. Carcaño and Bishop Cynthia Fierro-Harvey. The worship experience incorporates the cultural gifts expressed in the music and liturgy of the Latino people.
"Canto de Pentecostes" is available for you now on YouTube and Facebook.
