Okay, so you’re going to Annual Conference Session this year and maybe it’s your first year (or your 30th!) and you are already lost.
No fear! These three Q & A’s can help you find your way.
1. How do I bypass the lon-n-n-n-g Wednesday morning Registration line?
You can check in on Tuesday evening between 6 and 8 p.m. at the front lobby of the convention center to pick up your badge! Yup, register then and you can just walk into session on Wednesday morning!
2. Where are all the papers?
If you are a paper person, this is a scary step, but… you will need to go ONLINE and print out what you need BEFORE you leave home.
How? Go to https://www.cnumc.org, click on “California-Nevada Annual Conference Session 2019” (on your phone, scroll down to the link and tap) to see “Quick Links,” and download all the documents you want to print.
3. How do I get up-to-date ACS information each day?
Everything you want and need will be available up-to-the-minute ONLINE. If you are not tech savvy, get ready to learn how to go online and use the “CNUMC ACS19”app.
How? ADD the conference app to your phone. Visit the app store for your device and search for CNUMC.
The app service provider, CrowdCompass, also sent you a link to the app. (If you don’t see it check your Junk mail folder, as that is where my email went.)
How?ADD the conference app to your computer.
Go to https://www.cnumc.org, click on “California-Nevada Annual Conference Session 2019,” find “ACS10 Mobile App” under “Quick Links”and click on it, then click on the green box labeled “Access Web version.” REMEMBER, your “log in” is your name (as you listed it when youregistered for ACS; the name that will be on your name tag). A “code” (a 4-digit number) will be immediately emailed to you, using the address you entered on your online registration form.
If you aren’t able to ADD the conference app to your phone or computer BEFORE you leave home, the Cal-Nevada Communicationsteam will help you onsite. Look for us: We’ll be wearing muted purple T-shirts and will be happy to help you. YOU CAN DO IT!
PLUS, Toua Yang (above) will offer a special hands-on onsite tutorial before the Wednesday session opens. Sign up for it at the Registration/Check In table. Find out how you can use the app to scope out a spot for lunch, message other attendees, share your photos with everyone at ACS,and more!
