The two-part course using the text, "Lay Servants as Christian Transformational Leaders," is scheduled for two Saturdays, October 26 and November 16, 2019. The sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Hope United Methodist Church, 115 El Campo Drive, in South San Francisco. Lunch is provided. Bay District Lay Servant Ministry Coordinator, Dee Anne Paron, will serve as the course leader.
The course is a guide for Lay Servants seeking to be more empowered to lead their congregation toward vitality. It will define the three disciplines of Christian transformational leadership and the four qualities of Christian transformational leaders.
Participants are asked to purchase the text and become familiar with the contents before the first session.
Participants must attend both sessions in order to receive credit for the class.
Cost for the class is $15. Texts can be purchased on Amazon.com or from the bookstore at Upper Room.
Deadline to register is October 21, 2019. For more information contact Dee Anne Paron at firstname.lastname@example.org or send a text to 650-619-7296.
