California-Nevada volunteers respond to Mosquito Fire survivors and covered by FOX40

The Cal-Nev Disaster Response Ministry is on-site in Placerville this week helping survivors of the Mosquito Fire.

Our Early Response Team plus volunteers from The El Dorado County Federated Church are serving at a Local Assistance Center offering a ministry of presence and recovery assistance.
We spend time with each survivor as they process their trauma and loss.  We offer gift cards for immediate needs, hygiene kits and wildfire cleanup supplies.  All this assistance is graciously funded by individuals and churches in our Conference.

Our team at the El Dorado County LAC was interviewed by the local FOX news affiliate - FOX40. Click here to see our volunteers in action.

If you would like to help, click here to donate or mail a check payable to the California Nevada Conference and put Disaster Response Fund on the memo line.
