Administrative Assistant


Under the general direction of the senior pastor, the administrative assistant is responsible for the smooth operation of the church office, which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Greeting visitors in person or on the phone;
  • Typing and/or editing a variety of correspondence and church program materials;
  • Preparing the weekly church service PowerPoint presentation;
  • Updating the church website and Facebook page;
  • Distributing incoming mail;
  • Ordering supplies;
  • Reviewing and approving various invoices for payment;
  • Collecting donations for special events;
  • Purchasing supplies and services;
  • Serving as the backup person to the property manager;
  • Communicating with various staff/committees in the church; and
  • Maintaining the church calendar.

In addition, the administrative assistant obtains and supervises a small building maintenance staff and church volunteers, and schedules them to support the daily operational needs of the church.
