Certified Lay Servants

All laity interested in certification through Lay Servant Ministries begin by becoming Certified Lay Servants.

A Lay Servant serves in many capacities according to their gifts and training, such as:

  • Local Church Lay leader
  • Leading meetings for prayer, training, study, and discussion
  • Help conduct worship
  • Provide outreach and community leadership
  • Foster caring ministries
  • Share the love of Jesus in multiple ways
  • Teach what they learn to others

Required Courses:

  • Basic Course - This course is designed to help lay persons better place themselves and their distinct calling, in the sweep of God's greater story.

          Spiritual Gifts - Will lead participants in discovering their gifts that may have been latent or even ignored.
