Youth 2011 Volunteers Needed

Location: California Nevada National International

Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity close to home? Youth 2011 offers the perfect solution. Youth 2011 is the national youth gathering for the United Methodist Church, which happens only every four years and is the largest single gathering of UMC youth in existence. This four-day conference brings top United Methodist leaders (including Cal-Nevada's Rev. Motoe Yamada!) and the best ecumenical speakers, bands, and other talent together with thousands of UM youth from all around the nation, for what is sure to be a life-changing event. Conference Director of Young People's and Camping Ministries, Kelly Newell, says approximately 200 volunteers are needed for the Youth 2011 event, July 27-31 at the Sacramento Convention Center. Give a portion of your time, from an hour, to a day, to a week – whatever your availability – and thousands of youth from all over the country will benefit! To see the jobs and times available – and to volunteer – click on the Registrations tab on the Home Page of the Conference website at cnumc.org, or visit the Young People's Ministries section of the website (click on the link under "Areas of Interest" on the Home Page) and click on the ONLINE VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION link under "Youth 2011."
