Modesto First United Methodist Church is forming a Delta District team to travel to UMCOR West in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The team will be replenishing kits (layette, health, school, sewing and birthing) for packing, sewing book bags (bring fabric and a sewing machine - if you have one) and making baby sweaters.
Reservations have been made for team members at a home near UMCOR Depot West. Cost of $235 includes transportation from Modesto.

A group will travel to San Matias, Puebla, Mexico to assist with a construction project at the local Methodist Church. While there they will do some craft activities with the children of the church and provide community members with medical consultations. Wesley women are making lap blankets for the group to take to a nearby Methodist Senior Home, where they will spend an evening visiting the senior citizens living there.
