Spring Missionary Itineration
February 26, 2014
Opportunities exist this spring and early summer to visit with missionaries supported by the California-Nevada Conference. On "itineration" will be Janet Lahr Lewis (Palestine), Ken Koome (Angola), Gordon and Ardell Graner (Domincan Republic, formerly Bolivia), and Ken Cruz (Cambodia). The visits are part of the missionaries' periodic itineration to meet with supporting congregations and develop new covenant relationships. Click here for more information about missionaries.
The most well-known visitor will be missionary Janet Lahr Lewis, who serves in Bethlehem. Lewis was at the last annual conference session and spoke about the difficulties of the Palestinian village of Wadi Foquin. She will be here this year immediately following the annual conference session in Burlingame. Click here for more information about Lewis. There remain some morning and afternoon times available for a visit from her June 23 to 25 in the Sacramento area and June 26 to 28 in the Bay Area. Her one Sunday in the area is committed to a covenant relationship church, which has scheduling priority. If interested in a visit, contact Howard Parker, Conference Secretary of Global Ministries, email@example.com.
Missionary Ken Koome, who is from Kenya and serves in East Angola, is making his first visit to the United States. He represents Global Ministries approach of "Missionaries From Everywhere To Everywhere." Koome has some remaining times available to visit churches in the Central Valley May 14 to 16. Click here for more information about Koome.
If interested, contact the Rev. Colin Kerr-Carpenter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Gordon and Ardell Graner, who served for an extended period as missionaries in Bolivia and who now serve in the Dominican Republic, are briefly available to interested churches in the Sacramento area on May 13.
