"Is Racism Dead" UMW Legislative Event

"Is Racism Dead and Why is that Relevant to Us Today?" is the theme for a California-Nevada Conference United Methodist Women (UMW) legislative event to be held on Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The event will take place at Sacramento First United Methodist Church, 2100 J Street, Sacramento. Issues will center around race and the environment, race and the justice system, and race and the media.  Cost is $18 and checks can be made payable to CA-NV Conf UMC and mailed to the registrar, Lynette Jung Lee, 3916 Loma Vista Ave., Oakland, CA 94619.
