Updates on LEAD 2013 and Relevance X Young Adult Conferences

LEAD 2013

Registration was extended through Monday, January 28, 2013 until 11:59 p.m. After this deadline, housing will not be available at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Late registration began Tuesday, January 29, 2013, but with no housing options. Young adults throughout the Western Jurisdiction are encouraged to register and attend this great opportunity to make a positive impact in Young Adult ministry.


Relevance X

Amena Brown, poet, speaker, and journalist, is the event host and Bishop Robert T. Hoshibata is one of the featured speakers. This is the final full week of regular registration but housing at UNLV was only available until Monday, January 28, 2013. After which, University UMC has offered free floor space (and showers) for any attendees. Late registration begins after Sunday, February 3, 2013, and groups are greatly encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Basic info:

February 14-17, 2013, young clergy, leaders of young adult ministries, and young adults will gather from across the US and Canada focused on converging, innovating, and transforming young adult ministry in the United Methodist Church. The University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) will play host to LEAD 2013 and Relevance X. Relevance Ministries will lead the events, in partnership with Claremont School of Theology and GBOD (Division on Ministries with Young People).
